There are plenty of monsters that want to give you a great big hug in Lethal Company, but none have been as clingy as the new monster Tulip Snakes from the v50 update.
New Monster in Lethal Company v50 update
The Lethal Company v50 has been on thebeta public test serversfor a bit, bringing new moons, monsters, and weapons. I don’t think anyone expected more content to be added to v50 before it went live for everyone, but developerZeekersshas given us a pleasant surprise by adding yet another monster, theTulip Snake.

On April 12th, Zeekerss posted an update in the announcement channel of the officialThe Dark Place Travelers Discord server. This message included all of the changes that have been made to the v50 beta version, including an ‘increase in the amount of littlebadonkly goober guys’.
Of course, this made everyone on Discord question who exactly the badonkly goober guys are. Some speculated that it was just another update for the Baboon Hawks since the text specifically mentioned anoutside monsterthat can appear onforested moonsduring the day.
However, Baboon Hawks spawn on desert planets like Assurance as well. Another issue was that Zeekerss mentioned that the number of these monsters increased from the previous number of 0. This means that anew monster,confirmed to be theTulip Snake, has come to play, and boy, is it excited to give you a hug.
If you want to find and see the new monster, you can join the public beta test servers and land on any of theforested moons, such as Vow, March, and Adamance. Don’t confuse them with the Manticoils, another bird-like creature that escapes as soon as you approach them.
