All melee weapons in Flintlock The Siege of Dawn: Locations and tier list

There aresix melee weaponsin Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. Considering these will be your primary method of fighting Gods and the dead, you’ll need to equip a good one.

I have ordered this list frombest to worst, so this isn’t the natural order in which you’ll find these weapons.

Harbinger Axe Location Flintlock The Siege Of Dawn

Harbinger’s Axe

The Harbinger’s Axeinflicts burn on enemies, and the more you hit, the more stacks of burn they suffer from. This is fantastic for weaker enemies and tougher enemies and is the weapon I used from the beginning to the very end.

It may not objectively be the strongest, but thatextra ticking damagehas come in real handy in almost every fight I’ve been a part of.

Judge’s Hammer Flintlock The Siege Of Dawn

The Harbinger’s Axe will be the first extra weapon you come across, tucked away in a chestinside the storehousein Pilgrim’s Bend in Three Peaks.

Judge’s Hammer

The Judge’s Hammer is a slow yet powerful weapon thatdeals extra damage against armored enemies. The moment I found this weapon, I equipped it in my second melee slot. This with the Harbinger’s Axe is what I then completed the rest of the game with.

Being able toknock downand significantly damage armored enemies is a great asset in combat and makes strong enemies light work.

City Of Writ Flintlock The Siege Of Dawn

You’ll get the Judge’s Hammer upon completing theSide Quest“A Shot in the Dark.” Set in the City of Writ in Three Peaks, you’ll be taken to a couple of spots before defeating Bohal the Butcher. It’s a quick quest and isn’t challenging should you unlock the rumor.

You will begin the game with Nor’s Axe; I’m including it exclusively for the ranking aspect of this list. Although Nor’s Axe is the first weapon you get, it’s pretty good. Itgains more damage as hit combos go onand you can build a huge amount of prime when charging your attack.

Nor’s Axe Flintlock The Siege Of Dawn

With extra damage and prime capabilities, as well asbeing one of the most powerful melee weapons, you can’t really go wrong with Nor’s Axe.

Herald’s Blade

The Herald’s Blade is a quicker weapon that dealsdamage multiplied by your Reputation multiplier. This means that if you’re rather skilled, you could be dealing double damage on top of the weapon’s decent base damage.

This is a conditional bonus that can be taken away in an instant, however, so thankfully it deals good damage by itself.

You’ll find this weapon in a chest afterbeating the Stone Herald in the Forging Groundin Three Peaks. He is rather slow, but you may want to come back after a few skill upgrades.

Irregular’s Axe

The Irregular’s Axe is an interesting weapon thatdeals more damage as you lose healthwith it doubling damage when at critical health.

Although double damage sounds nice, being on the sting of death isn’t. And if you’re skilled at the game you’ll have to let yourself get hit to take advantage, potentiallyruining your reputation modifier.

You’ll find the Irregular’s Axe in the chest in theboss area of Pilgrim’s Overlook Bandit Campin Wanderer’s Rest. This camp isn’t particularly difficult to overcome, so head straight north if you want to get your hands on it.

Sunderer’s Hammer

The Sunderer’s Hammer is a slower and weaker weapon, but itbuilds primewhen hitting enemies. On paper, this sounds incredible, and when leveled up to max it could be a great asset against bosses.

However, it’s expensive to level up and is stillslow and weak. And besides, you can comfortably rely on Enki to prime enemies, especially with his later upgrades.

This weapon is tucked out of the way in Wanderer’s Rest, inAncestor’s Gazecave. You’ll find the entrance east of the Campsite in Way of the Forebearers, and you may follow the short cave system to the boss, theSealed King.

After beating this boss you’ll be able to open the chest containing the Sunderer’s Hammer. Pro tip: Destroy all of the vases before attacking the boss.

And that’s all the melee weapons in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn! You’ll now have the maximum versatility when it comes to crushing your foes.

All primary firearms in Flintlock The Siege of Dawn: Locations and tier list

There arefive primary firearms(pistols) in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. You’ll be using these pistols to disrupt enemy attacks and deal some damage, and they’re arguably the most important weapon in the game.

Nor’s Pistol

Nor’s Pistol is the primary firearm you start with in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and yet it honestly is the best pistol. To me, at least.

It is thesecond strongest pistol and contains four Black Powder Charges. This makes it the best mix between power and amount of uses. I scarcely found myself wanting for more charges in combat and found the strength of the pistol fine for my engagements.

I exclusively used Nor’s Pistol, even after experimenting with all the others.

Marauder’s Pistol

The Marauder’s Pistol is themost powerful pistol– by a long shot. Although it only has one Black Powder Charges, it makes up for it by absolutely blasting your enemies away.

The limited charges reduce the utility of the firearm as you’lldisrupt enemy attacks lessbut if you’re killing them quickly you won’t have to disrupt them often. This doesn’t make a great boss weapon for that reason, however.

This pistol can be found inside thefort inMile’s End Barricadein Three Peaks, right near the breach.

Sunderer’s Flintlock

The Sunderer’s Flintlock has a delayed fuse that explodes, building agood amount of primeon all enemies in the blast radius. It also has four Black Powder Charges, allowing you to pop off prime often.

When upgraded, the Sunderer’s Flintlock can be catastrophic to your enemies when it comes to building prime. However, having multiple primed opponents is useless as they’ll snap out of it by the time you’ve finished attacking your first. Also, numerous skill upgrades make building prime rather easy, making this weapon less important. This makes thereduction in raw damageless worth it.

This pistol is in the chest at the top ofEnlightened Peakin Three Peaks. To get to Enlightened Peak, rift travel from Whitebridge Hamlet.

Skirmisher’s Pistol

The Skirmisher’s Pistol is a weaker pistol thatknocks back enemiesif you shoot them whilst jumping or dodging. It has five Black Powder Charges, allowing you to zip around the place whilst knocking your foes down.

Having so many Black Powder Charges allows you to disrupt numerous attacks in a row, which is an asset in boss fights. However, thereduction in damage and mediocre abilitymake the Skirmisher Pistol rather useless in regular combat.

You’ll receive the Skirmisher’s Pistol after beating theSide Quest“When Duty Calls“in Wanderer’s Rest. You can start this quest in Goatfoot Gorge and will entail you defending civilians from waves of dead.

Baz’ Blunderbuss

Baz’s Blunderbuss shootsnumerous pellets in a cone, knocking down enemies hit. This makes it great for dealing with crowds, even if it puts out minimal damage. you’re able to charge the attack to focus the cone to deliver a powerful payload to a single, enemy, however. It has two Black Powder Charges.

Although it does knock back crowds, havingminimal shots and dealing minimal damagemakes it useless in most encounters. When you’re in a situation that would call for the blunderbuss, you won’t be able to change to it.

You will earn this firearm during the completion of theSapper Quest“Lost to Battle,” given by Baz in Three Peaks. You’ll have to venture into Old Mine to recover it and fight against the dead.

That’ll do it for all the primary firearms in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. Now we can move on to all the other supplementary weapons in the game.

All secondary firearms in Flintlock The Siege of Dawn: Locations and tier list

There aresix secondary firearms in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. These weapons can be absolute assets in battle and can devastate your enemies.

Fire Canon

The Fire Canon is an incredible firearm thatdeals great damage and sets things on fire. Having the raw power and AoE tick damage makes for a weapon that deals with crowds and tougher enemies.

It may not deal amazing critical damage, but I always had this firearm equipped in my second firearm slot.

The Fire Canon is found in a chest inBreakwater Cliffsin Wanderer’s Rest. From the lodestone at the end of The Ravine’s Secret, head east and follow the natural path until you get to the cliffs, where the chest will be stationed alongside some bird enemies.

Marksman’s Musket

The Marksman’s Musket may be the first secondary firearm you get in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, but it’s incredibly good. With thegreatest damage potentialwith perfect reloads and headshots, you can dealstaggeringdamage to enemies.

Being able to essentially one-shot any unarmored enemy is a blessing, and earned it a permanent place in my equipped weaponry.

The Marksman’s Musket is given to youby Baz in the Campsite in Pilgrim’s Bendin Three Peaks. It’s the first secondary firearm you’ll get.

Hand Mortar

The Hand Mortar essentially shoots cannonballs. With a six-foot radius and dealing themost default damage out of any secondary firearm, you’ll be able to blast hordes to shreds before they even know you’re there.

You may only have two shots, but that’s honestly all you’ll need.

This weapon can be found in theSulfur Minesin Three Peaks, just after the initial breach.

Ricochet Canon

The Ricochet Canon is a very powerful gun that requires some precise firing. The projectile willricochet off surfacesto damage other enemies, increasing in damage with each bounce.

Although the Ricochet Canon can deliver incredibly powerful shots and can knock down opponents, it requiresprecise aiming to line up the unpredictable bounce patternsof the projectile. Having to be careful with the shot placement makes this difficult to use whilst in combat.

This weapon can also be found in theSulfur Minesin Three Peaks. Before the final Lodestone, in the caverns through the wall, make a right turning where you’d typically take a left to walk into an outcrop overlooking the tough two-headed undead enemy.

Wildfire Mortar

The Wildfire Mortar is a much weaker mortar weapon thatinflicts burning in a large radius. Inflicting burning to a large group of enemies is great, however, there are grenades and other weapons that can do that.

You’re better offleaning on another systemto apply burning rather than holding up a secondary weapon slot on a very limited secondary firearm.

This secondary firearm is awarded to you upon completing theSide Quest“No Rest For The Wicked” in Cape Reunion in Wanderer’s Rest. You’ll be helping an escaped bandit find hidden caches of loot before facing down another Bandit Leader. This quest can be pointed out by a Host should you unlock the rumor.

Firespitter

As much as I want to love the Firespitter, it simply is the worst method to inflict burning on enemies. Although you don’t need to bother with reloading and have100 seconds of fuel, it deals virtually no physical damage and slows you down.

If you want toinflict burning, even the Wildfire Mortar is more effective and damaging.

You are awarded this weapon after beating theSapper Quest“In Safe Hands.” This quest is given by Luca in Wanderer’s Rest and concerns you testing two water sources around Garden Ravine in Wanderer’s Rest. This quest is incredibly easy and very quick.

That will cover all the secondary firearms in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn! With all the regular weapons out of the way, we can finally have a look at collecting the grenades.

All grenades in Flintlock The Siege of Dawn: Locations and tier list

There are four types on grenades in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and there are three grenades to find for each type. These 12 grenades are scattered all over the place – so let’s begin.

I’ll be ordering the grenade types from best to worst.

Blast Grenade

The Blast Grenade is simply the damage dealer of the grenade types. Itdeals great damage straight awayand will clear hordes and hurt groupings of tough enemies.

You can find your first Blast Grenade justoutside the fortress at Mile’s End Barricadein Three Peaks.

The second Blast Grenade can be found at theedge ofPilgrim’s Overlookin Wanderer’s Rest. You’ll be able to access the cliffside by walking south from the Bandit Camp.

The third Blast Grenade can be found inside theCity of Sibyl. Upon entering, take a left to enter a small courtyard. Ahead will be an Ancestor – the chest is on the balcony above it.

Wildfire Bomb

Wildfire Bombs launch fire in their radius andinflictburn continuallyto enemies standing in the zone. Burn is the best status effect as the dead aren’t resistant to it (although armor does protect from it).

The first Wildfire Bombcan be found inRosy Milein Three Peaks, at the end of a passage accessed through Rift travel.

The second Wildfire Bomb can be found atop a turret,in the Foglandsin Three Peaks. Rift travel from another turret in the area will lead you to the target turret.

The third Wildfire Bomb can be found at thebottom of Goatfoot Gorgein Wanderer’s Rest. The chest it’s in is in the open.

Shock Grenade

Shock Grenadesknocks enemies back and builds prime. Although the prime building is only marginally useful, being able to knock back a bunch of enemies is always helpful.

The first Shock Grenade can be found inside the fort to the right when traveling straight west from thelodestone in Pitman’s Gatein Three Peaks.

The second Shock Grenade can be found inPilgrim’s Overlook, by the Ancestor.

The third Shock Grenade can be found in theEnlightened Hallsin Wanderer’s Rest after the City of Sibyl. You’ll find it tucked under the stairs on the lead up to the Seat of the Despot.

Ripper Grenade

Ripper Grenadesinflict bleedon enemies hit in the blast. Although this ignores armor, dead enemies are resistant to it, making this less effective against most enemies.

The first Ripper Grenade can be found at the end of the passage accessed by Rift travel from the turret straight east from thelodestone in Pilgrim’s Bendin Three Peaks.

The second Ripper Grenade can be found inside theCity of Writin Three Peaks at a dead end surrounded by many enemies in a courtyard.

The third Ripper Grenade can be found in the harbor portion of theCity of Sibylin Wanderer’s Rest.

Finally – we’ve covered all the grenades and weapons in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. With all your offensive capabilities covered, let’s find all the armor sets for maximum protection.

All armor locations in Flintlock The Siege of Dawn

There arefive armor sets in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, each with three pieces of armor. Upon wearing at least two pieces of the same set, you’ll be granted a synergy bonus.

Considering that you canmix and match the armor pieces to better suit your playstyle, it’s difficult to rank the pieces without mixing up the sets. Instead, I’ve summarized what each armor set does at the beginning of their entries so you’re able to see which you’d prefer to collect first at a glance.

Sapper’s Set

The Sapper’s Setfocuses on Black Powder, naturally. This set is the most concise and arguably the most useful, as you’ll be using your primary firearm the most out of all other non-melee weapons.

The armor synergy bonus for the Sappers Set grants you33.3% more Black Powder Chargewhenever you regain Black Powder.

TheSapper’s Helmetgrants you bonus firearm damage.

The Sapper’s Helmet is given as a quest reward given during theMain Quest“Battle Hardened.” You will receive it after helping Jung in the Mudfish Dock Hamlet in Three Peaks.

TheSapper’s Gauntletgives you a bonus Black Powder Charge when attacking with Enki.

The Sapper’s Gauntlet is also given as a quest reward, for completing theSide Quest“Peacekeepers” in Three Peaks. The quest takes place in Pilgrim’s Bend in Three Peaks and is given by a Host if you unlock the rumor. It’s rather easy and will involve you battling through Pindrop Cave.

TheSapper’s Pauldronwill cause a shockwave that knocks enemies back upon filling a Black Powder Charge.

The Sapper’s Pauldron is found just after exiting theBlack Powder Vaultin Three Peaks. Before the next campsite is a long tunnel with Rift travel. It is in the side room to the left.

Warlock’s Set

The Warlock’s Setfocuses on Enki’s curses.

The armor synergy bonus for the Warlock’s Settransfers all cursesfrom a defeated enemy to another enemy within 10 meters. Although this set does a great job of making Enki more effective, his skills already make him as useful as he needs to be.

TheWarlock’s Helmetcreates an explosion that damages nearby enemies when you repeatedly curse one enemy.

The Warlock’s Helmet is found in the Foglands in Three Peaks, at the edge.

TheWarlock’s Gauntletallows all curses to last longer.

The Warlock’s Gauntletcan be found after beating the Knights in theSapper Quest“Tempered Bonds.” This is given by Jung in Wanderer’s Rest, and you’ll get the same reward no matter how you deal with the Knights.

TheWarlock’s Pauldroncauses enemies to receive continuous damage whilst cursed.

The Warlock’s Pauldron is given as a reward after completing theSapper Quest“TheFamily Condition,” given by Johara in Wanderer’s Rest or Dawn. You’ll be sent to their family estate in this quest to embark on a rather unique mission.

Irregular’s Set

The Irregular’s Setfocuses on aggression and melee attacks. This set’s gauntlet is one of my favorite and definitely most used gauntlets. That extra reach really comes in handy. And the synergy bonus essentially grants you an extra life.

The armor synergy bonus for the Irregular’s Set grants youbloodrageafter performing a critical attack. With bloodrage, upon receiving fatal damage, all enemies are knocked back and you remain alive at 1 hp for a last chance.

TheIrregular’s Helmetincreases damage received but increases your attack damage by a higher amount.

The Irregular’s Helmet is earned by completing theSide Quest“Prizefight,” which takes place in Exile’s Cradle in Wanderer’s Rest. You’ll need to beat waves of opponents. This quest can be pointed out through a rumor.

TheIrregular’s Gauntletincreases your melee attack range by 2 meters.

The Irregular’s Gauntlet is a rare gauntlet found inThe Forging Groundin Three Peaks, just off to the side.

TheIrregular’s Pauldrongrants your melee attacks extra stun after killing an enemy or performing a critical strike.

Irregular’s Pauldron can be found after beating the boss of theCape Runion Bandit Camp. It’ll be in the chest in the boss arena.

Dragoon’s set

The Dragoon’s Setfocuses on secondary firearms and grenades.I personally found this set the most effective, with the Dragoon’s Pauldron being my favorite Pauldron piece in the game.

The armor synergy bonus for the Dragoon’s Set gives you 25% of a Black Powder Charge afterdamaging an enemy with an explosion or secondary weapon.

TheDragoon’s Helmetgrants your secondary firearms and grenades bonus damage.

You’ll receive the Dragoon’s Helmet after beating theSide Quest“To Turn The Tide.” You’ll be securing a weapon crate that the local militia are bickering over. You will be pointed to this quest through a rumor once you’ve unlocked it.

TheDragoon’s Gauntletsplits a grenade into two when you throw one.

You’ll find the Dragoon’s Gauntlet sitting on thebridge in Way Of The Forebearersin Wanderer’s Rest.

TheDragoon’s Pauldronallows you to shoot with a secondary firearm twice after a perfect reload.

The Dragoon’s Pauldron is found in theRosy Milein Three Peaks, at the very edge.

Sunderer’s set

The Sunderer’s Setfocuses on dodging and risks.I found all the armor in this set to be sub-par when compared to the others. Although the synergy bonus is pretty good. I’d recommend Armored Poise skill to make effect of it, however.

The armor synergy bonus for the Sunderer’s Set replaces your dodge with a short distance teleportto make evasion even easier.

TheSunderer’s Helmetincreases your damage on hits that land whilst the enemy is actively attacking.

The Sunderer’s Helmet is found afterbeating the revenant in Mireshardin Three Peaks.

TheSunderer’s Pauldronslows down all enemies briefly after you execute a perfect dodge.

TheSunderer’s Pauldronis found afterbeating the revenant in White Bridgein Three Peaks.

TheSunderer’s Gauntletrefills an Enki charge a Black Powder Charge upon dodging an enemy at the last moment.

The Sunderer’s Gauntlet is found afterbeating the revenant in The Ravine’s Secretin Wanderer’s Rest.

And that will complete the list ofall armor and weaponsfor Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. Have you managed to collect everything? Whilst you complete your arsenal in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, why don’t you also round out yourSebo Coin collection?
