Discard decks have long been a thing in card games, such as Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: the Gathering, and Hearthstone. The natural course of action for Marvel Snap was also to offer such a mechanic to the players, which is how the Apocalypse Deck was born. Unlike in some games where you select the cards you discard, in Marvel Snap it’s being done automatically and randomly which spices up the Discard Deck with some sweet RNG. Prima Games is here to deliver some Discard Deck ideas to you, with codes of course.
Best Pool 3 Discard Deck in Marvel Snap
Apocalypse seems to be the core card of all Discard decks because of the insane synergy with the Discard mechanic and Dracula. In short, every time you discard Apocalypse, he comes back to your hand stronger. There’s that one card called Lady Sif, which specifically discards the highest-cost card in your hand, which kind of can narrow down your discard targets.
We mentioned Dracula because he is basically very difficult to counter. He sits there with 0 Power and keeps the opponents wondering if you will keep Apocalypse for Dracula to discard him or if you’ll play that 20+ Power Apocalypse on another Location and leave Dracula to fend for himself.

Here’s a generic list you can start with. Naturally, if you do not have or do not want to play some stuff, you can replace the cards temporarily. Also, it’s worth noting that some players add in more or less (un)orthodox tech cards like:

How to Play Discard Deck in Marvel Snap
It isn’t very easy to play a deck that is heavily RNG-based. And on top of that, you have to take mental or written notes about your discards and cards remaining in the deck (more than with the other decks). Most importantly, your cube management is essential. You must know to hit that Retreat button and cut your losses if the RNG doesn’t go your way. However, some bravery with reasonable winning odds can bring your eight cubes if the opponent takes the bait, and that’s the charm of this game.
