Like most other survival games, it’s you against the elements inLEGO Fortnite. The good news is that staying warm in LEGO Fortnite when the temps drop is easy to do, and we’ll show you the best ways to do it.
LEGO Fortnite: The best ways to survive the cold temperatures
The first (and probably easiest) method is bycreating a campfire. This can be done bysimply lookingfor wood. It’s the first thing you’re able to create. Additionally, when it rains thefire doesn’t die out, so you can keep warm, even during a downpour. The only issue is that you needto be near the campfire to stay warm, otherwise, the gauge will go down when you start moving away. If yousleep near a fire, you can heal and stay warm at the same time —time just doesn’t pass.
Alternatively, you can findSpicy Peppers in the Dry Valley, from Loot Llamas, and chests. You can eat them alone, but you’ll getabout two minutes of warmth from the peppers. However,if you cook them in a dishlike in Breath of the Wild, you can make the effects last longer. In other words, unlike staying by a campfire, you move around and be warm for a limited amount of time.

How to know that you’re cold?
If you’re in a hot or cold climate, you’ll get a messagethat tells you that you’re either freezing or sweating. The other way is to check thegauge on the top left of the screen. If the dial ison the left, you’re cold, and then you’re warm if the dial moves right. You want to bein the middle.
If you want to turn off those hot and cold messages altogether and get more immersed, we have a guide on howto turn it offto make your game a little tough, sure, but it’ll take you deeper into the survival experience.
Fortnite is free to play viaEpic Games, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and Mobile.
