The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is Now Available
It’s official: nearly 20 years later, it’s time to return to Cyrodiil to close the Oblivion gates and ensure peace throughout Tamriel. After months of rumors and several leaked details, Bethesda has officially announcedThe Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remasteredin grand fashion.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remasteredis developed by Virtuos, the same studio working on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, and published byBethesda Game Studios.

“The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion™ Remasteredmodernizes the 2006 Game of the Year with stunning graphics and enhanced gameplay. Explore the vast landscape of Cyrodiil like never before and stop the forces of Oblivion from taking over the land in one of the greatest RPGs of all time, developed by the award-winning Bethesda Game Studios,” reads the Steam description.
Includes Classic Expansions
Oblivion Remastered includes both expansions released for the original 2006 version: Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine, bundled together in a single package.
If you remember the controversial paid horse armor, you should know that those cosmetics are now included in theDeluxe Edition, which is also available for digital purchase.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remasteredcan now be purchased at a discounted price on Steam and Microsoft Store for PC, as well as on the PlayStation Store (PS5) and Xbox digital store (Series X|S). The standard edition is available for$49.99.
TheStandard Editionincludes the full base game and both expansions, while theDeluxe Editioncosts$59.99and includes the following:

Same Classic Story, Enhanced Presentation
Most notably, Virtuos usesUnreal Engine 5technology to recreate the beautiful landscapes of Cyrodiil, now more vibrant than ever with richer flora and fauna.
Story-wise, it’s identical to the original 2006 game, so you can expect to reunite with the Adoring Fan and the iconic NPCs of the past. The late Emperor Uriel Septim VII returns as the narrator, just like in the original game’s intro.

On Steam, we can see that Oblivion Remastered includes a total of60 achievements, and you can redeem platform points to unlock up to13 new profile items.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered,the new version of the 2006 RPG, is now available for purchase starting at $49.99 onPS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam. A Deluxe Edition is also available — and don’t forget, it’s included in Game Pass.
