Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalonas a whole is vast, with monsters and various world-changing decisions that need to be made. While that is the core of the experience, sometimes you just want a little love in your life. There are a handful of characters you’re able to romance in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, sharing a life and even a home with that person. One such individual is the bossy but surprisingly lovely Alisa in act 1 which requires a couple of guided steps to achieve happiness.

Sometimes traders traveling across Avalon are picked up by bandits, and sometimes it’s your job to get the goods back.
The One Percent
The first quest you will need to come across is The One Percent, which is handed out by Alisa herself. She can be found in the bar in the far west of the Horns of the South, essentially in the shack town by the beach. She will be sitting in the bar waiting for someone to talk to her, where she will explain that she came from Kamalot with her husband and is looking for a place to stay.
She saw a nice mansion on a cliff overlooking the ocean, but unfortunately there were some bandits holed up there. She asks you to clear out the place for her and her husband to move in. All that needs to be done is head up north along the beach until you find the place. There will only be two enemies inside, which should be taken care of very quickly. Return to Alisa and receive your reward.
Farewell, Lady Alisa
After finishing The One Percent, if you go back to the mansion up north, Alisa will be alone with another quest for you. It would seem some bandits have kidnapped her husband and are holding him ransom. Not having any of this, she sends you to go retrieve him and deal with the bandits.
Head all the way east, in the mountains before the lake of blood. There will be the Miners’ Tunnels where, upon entering, you will be greeted by Duncan, Alica’s husband, safe and sound. Talking to him, he will reveal that he was actually just looking to start fresh, and he couldn’t simply break up with her as there would be too many complications back home.
Do not attempt to convince him to go back to her, and he will give you his severed finger. Head back to Alisa and you will have the option to tell him the bandits have killed him, which she will promptly leave back to her home, giving you the option to purchase the house for 300 gold pieces. Do not do this if you want to romance Alisa. Instead, tells her the truth, that he ran away. She will be upset, but this will continue the quest chain.
My Fair Lady
Alisa will need some time to think things over, so head to bed (in the back of the cabin or back in the settlement) for a couple of days. Talking to her, you will convince her that she can start a new from here with her fashion. Unfortunately, she will need some items that you will need to collect, some of which will require a little RNG.
The first thing you will need to get is a Ragged Nobleman’s Doublet, which can be found in the junk pile in the settlement in the southwest. Upon entering, head straight into tow, up the stairs and under the small keep in the middle. Hug right until you reach some garbage, which has theRagged Nobleman’s Doublet. It will also haveFrayed Silk Gloves. Be sure to pick these up, as after turning in the Ragged Nobleman’s Doublet, she will ask you for these gloves specifically.
Afterward, she will then ask you to collect her12 Seashells. These aren’t on the beach, but instead are dropped specifically fromDrowners. These monsters can be found directly south of the cabin along the beach. If you’re unable to obtain all 12 from this beach, head to the other side of the map southeast and there will be a good number of Drowners ready to be slain.
Bring back the twelve seashells to Alisa and she will finally complete the side quest.
Fit for a Lady
For the final quest, Alisa will need your help rebuilding the seaside pavilion. This will require you to collect five pieces of wood. These are scattered throughout the world, but the easiest means of obtaining this is talking to the blacksmithOsbryhtin town. These will cost you90 gold pieces, which, at this point, you should have a little bit to spend.
After this, head to the pavilion overlooking the sea, and it will be completely reworked. Go talk to Alisa and the two of you will have a rather nice date in the evening as you tell her of your various adventures throughout the lands.
The quest will be completed, but all you need to do now is talk to Alisa in the cabin, and she will reveal that she has feelings for you. Upon this confession, you’re able to reciprocate your feelings by saying “I’ve grown rather fond of you too, Alisa.” Or if you have no interest in this bossy beauty, simply deny her with “I’m sorry, Alisa, but I don’t feel the same.”
This will then lead to a rather romantic evening with Alica as she will tell you her home is now your home.
