From time to time, you may switch credit card providers, get a new credit card number, or opt to use a different payment method than the one you’re already using.

How to change the credit card you have on file with Apple
You can change your payment method on iPhone in a couple of different spots,Settingsand theApp Store. Follow the steps below for whichever is most convenient for you.
Change your credit card in Settings
1)OpenSettingsand select yourApple IDat the top.
2)ChoosePayment & Shipping.
3)Enter your password, Touch ID, or Face ID when prompted.
4)You’ll see a list of payment methods, if you have more than one assigned to your account. The one at the top is the default card.

Torearrangethe payment methods, tapEditand thendragthem to new positions in the list. Again, place the one you want as your default at the top.
Toremoveone, select it and pickRemove Payment Method.
Toadda new one, tapAdd Payment Methodand follow the prompts.
5)TapDone.
Change your credit card in the App Store
1)OpenApp Storeand tap yourprofile photoat the top.
2)Tap yourApple ID.
3)SelectManage Payments.
4)Just like above in the Settings, you’ll see a list of payment methods with the one at the top as the default card.
Use the same actions as Step 4 above to rearrange, remove, or add a card.
5)TapBackand thenDone.
Now that you’ve changed your payment information tied to your Apple ID, the new credit card you have just added will be charged any time you make a purchase from any of Apple’s online digital content stores.
So basically, your old credit card that you replaced won’t be charged anymore.
