One of the most difficult bosses inElden Ring Nightreignis theDarkdrift Knight Fulghor. While there are enemies that take to the sky, putting melee players in an awkward position, Fulghor pretends to be a land creature, but instead moves far quicker than he looks. Actually hitting him can be a nightmare. So there’s no better boss to bring to the Everdark Sovereign weekly cycle. FromSoftware has almost completely reworked the boss, bringing far more exciting attacks with some devastating after-effects. This guide will hopefully help you take him down in the fastest means possible.

Everdark Sovereign Fulghor Moveset
Description
Sweeping Slash
Fulghor will send a shockwave forward towards one player, generally 3 or 4 times.
Our four-legged friend will begin to dash around the arena in three dashes, all while leaving a trail of timed explosions.

With his left arm, Fulghor will slam the ground, sending a purple shockwave around the targeted player.
Five-Hit Combo
With his giant arm, Fulghor will attack with sweeping attacks and one slashing attack with his sword, and the final attack being a large AOE attack.
Charged Up Holy Blast
Fulghor will charge up an attack that hits all party members with a large holy blast and then leaves delayed blasts afterward.
Transition
Fulghor will ascend into the sky and come back down with a bow and arrow attack.
Holy from Above
Similar to the transition, Fulghor will ascend into the sky and start hopping around. He will then charge up a bow attack that will unleash an immensely powerful attack.
Eight-Hit Combo
Fulghor will perform a powerful eight-hit combo on one player.
Four-Hit Sweeping Combo
Fewer attacks than the other combo, but he comes down with a plunging attack at the end.
Outside his normal sword-swinging attacks, the Everdark Sovereign version of Darkdrift Knight, Fulghor, is almost an entirely new type of fight. The most recognizable attack he has is his sweeping slash, which sends a shockwave in front of him towards another player, generally doing this three or four times in succession. The other attack that’s taken from the original fight are the dashes, where Fulghor will speed towards one targeted player and leave a delayed explosion behind.

The fight itself essentially starts in the second phase of the original, but the freakish purple hand that’s coming out of Fulghor’s left is a lot more dangerous. He will be using it a lot more, spewing purple vomit around the arena.
More importantly, he will have a couple of deadly attacks. One will be a hand slam that will send a large AOE attack around his target. This can be dodged out of, or if you’re having trouble with the dodge timing, you’re able to jump over the attack, similar to a lot ofGaping Jaw’s attacks.

Fulghor will also propel himself into the air and then slam back down. Similar to the other attack, you’re able to jump over this attack. This is without doubt the most efficient way to avoid this, because there are fewer i-frames when dodging and because it’s a massive AOE, it’s harder to outrange.
The major transition in this fight happens around 50% when Fulghor will begin to rise into the sky as if he’s being chosen by the gods. You don’t actually have to worry about this animation itself, but he will come down and turn his weapon into a holy bow and fire at a targeted ally. The best you can do is run out at an angle as it doesn’t track too far.

This is when the fight gets a little hectic, even more than before. Fulghor will do the same animation as the transition, but this time, instead of coming back to the ground, he will begin to hop around in mid-air and target one person with his bow. He will charge up and shoot an arrow at that person after a few seconds. As soon as he locks onto a person, you need to run as far away as possible because that arrow has a colossal explosion when it hits the ground, essentially setting off a nuke.
The final attack is when Fulghor turns his blade into a holy twinblade and begins to spin it around. He will then attack a player with eight incredibly powerful attacks, two of which will likely kill you if struck. The best you can do is roll past him on the first attack and then back off. This is a very deadly combo that needs to be avoided at all cost. There is also a sweeping combo of three strikes and a final plunge attack that looks similar.
