The Fantastic Four: First Stepsis already poised to set the box office on fire when it opens in theaters this weekend. But, Marvel Studios will be making another super-sized bundle of cash from the luxury popcorn bucket released exclusively for the movie. In the build-up to the film’s release, Marvel Studios revealed a new popcorn bucket depicting thefilm’s main villain, Galactus, played by Ralph Ineson.Fans' mouths immediately began watering when they saw how much popcorn could fit inside the bucket, but reality quickly kicked in when the price was revealed. It’s not just MCU fans who are shocked by the popcorn bucket’s price, as Ineson himself is also in a state of awe over the price tag.

Ralph Ineson recently spoke to GamesRadar+, along with hisFantastic Fourco-star, Julia Garner, to discuss the new MCU movie. During the interview, Ineson was asked about his reaction to fans eating from his character’s head withthe new Galactus popcorn bucket. His mind immediately went to the bucket’s lofty $80 price tag, as he muttered under his breath, “Only rich people, obviously.” The interviewer ran with it, and Julia Garner was quickly shocked to learn how much the bucket cost, as she said:

‘The Fantastic Four’ Went Against the MCU Grain To Pull Off Galactus' Epic Scale

In a world of motion-capture performances, Matt Shakman wanted his ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ villain to loom large IRL.

Ineson’s PR training then kicked in, and he began describing the scale of the popcorn bucket. “[It’s] Galactus' head with glowing eyes, and it’s about [20 inches wide],” he continued. “It’s a massive thing.” Going back to the interviewer’s original question, Ineson said he’s not too uncomfortable, as it’s not actually modeled on his face. “It’s not my face,” he revealed. Although the concept of fans ironically eating from his character’s head, when Galactus himself eats entire planets, “is strange,” Ineson admitted.

‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Introduces One of the MCU’s Most Powerful Villains… But What Next?

Marvel fans have been waiting years for the MCU to introduce Galactus. Fantastic Four fans have already seen the cosmic being on the big screen once before, in the2007 critical flop,Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. However, that version was less a 1000-foot-tall armored being, and more of an intergalactic fart cloud.

But, many fans are wondering what will happen to Galactus afterFirst Steps. Unless the film pulls anInfinity War-level twist, The Fantastic Four are expected to defeat Thanos by the end of the movie. So, is that it for Galactus' time in the MCU? The franchise has a long history of wasting great villains with even greater actors playing the roles. At the time of publication, there are currently no updates on Ineson or Galactus returning for more MCU movies. However, thecore cast ofThe Fantastic Four: First Steps— Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn — are all confirmed to return forAvengers: Doomsday, which opens in theaters next December.
