Dragon’s Dogma 2 Showcases the Magick Archer Vocation in New Trailer
Dragon’s Dogma 2 continues to tease new vocations, and this time Capcom has revealed all the features about the Magick Archer, one of the most anticipated ones Vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2 which was also present in the first game.
The Magick Archer Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be exclusive to the Arisen and excels at long-range combat with the use of magical arrows. But it’s not all about offence for Magick Archers; they are also experts in supporting their allies through healing. In exchange for reducing their own maximum HP, they can also learn a customised skill that unleashes a devastating attack over an extensive area.

The elemental arrows of the Magick Archer in Dragon’s Dogma 2, can adapt to any combat situation or enemy: imbued with fire, ice, or electricity, they can always find a way to gain a tactical advantage in battle. Fire arrows cause explosive damage, ice freezes opponents, and electricity bounces and spreads, reaching great distances and affecting multiple enemies at once.
In addition to thisMagick Archer, Capcom has already shown gameplay videos of various vocations that you can see in ourDragon’s Dogma 2 Wiki.

The Star Wars Strategy Game Survives The Layoffs
Bit Reactor, the developer working on a Star Wars strategy game for EA, has recently revealed that work on the title has not been interrupted and will continue as planned.
The company’s restructuring has led to the cancellation of one of the Star Wars projects, more specifically an FPS game. The studio announced that it had been working on this project since 2022, and two years later, it seems that it will not see the light of day. This time, we could be talking about The Mandalorian game.
“We have decided to pivot away from early development on a Star Wars FPS Action game to focus our efforts on new projects based on our owned brands while providing support for existing games. It’s always hard to walk away from a project, and this decision is not a reflection of the team’s talent, tenacity, or passion they have for the game”
This information comes from Electronic Arts, who confirmed the layoffs and that Respawn will no longer be working on this new FPS instalment of the well-known franchise. On the other hand, the developer will focus all its efforts on the Star Wars Jedi saga.
We’re not sure what the Star Wars strategy game will be like or when we’ll get a glimpse of it, but for those who feared it was lost along with The Mandalorian game, it seems we have nothing to worry about.

Netflix Adds Hades to its Gaming Library
Hades, a rogue-like developed by Supergiant in 2020, announces its release for iOS as part of a Netflix subscription at the end of this month.
Netflix continues to add titles to its mobile gaming service, and this time it has acquired one of the most important titles of 2020, winning game of the year at the New York Game Awards, and many publications including IGN, Polygon, and Destructoid called it the best game that year. We have even argued that Hades may be the Best Game Ever.
Hades will arrive on June 15, 2025 exclusively for iOS. For now, pre-registration is already available, and some improvements have been announced for this mobile version, such as support for 60 fps, customizable touch controls, redesigned menus and interfaces, achievements, and offline play. Meanwhile, a sequel to Hades is in preparation: Hades II. The sequel is still expected to be released into Early Access in the second quarter (April to June) of 2024 on Steam, with the full release version 1.0, appearing on consoles as well once Early Access is completed.
Initially, as mentioned earlier, the game will only be available for iOS devices, so Android users will have to wait a little longer to help Zagreus in his quest for freedom. If you’re playing the regular version of the game, ensure to check out our Hades Beginner Guide.
Helldivers 2 Receives its First Big Balancing – Patch 01.000.100
Developer Arrowhead has released the first big Helldivers 2balancing patch 01.000.100, which adjusts primary, secondary, and supports weapons, including the two most overpowered and commonly used weapons in the third-person action game that has taken Steam by storm.
In Helldivers 2, plenty of players use these two weapons because of their superior firepower and armor penetration, leading to them being largely dubbed as overpowered. Therefore, it is expected that players will start to experiment with new weapons and create a new meta.
There has also been a package of solutions for heavy armor suits, which did not reduce damage as expected. Now Arrowhead has adjusted the values of these armors to make them more useful.
Planets now have additional environmental challenges that appear randomly while you are deployed, including fire tornadoes and meteor showers. In the patch notes, Arrowhead stated that there are now many more active planetary dangers that players will have to adapt to.
You can read the full patch notes on our article, or on the official website
The First Berserker: Khazan Shows Off New Gameplay During Xbox Showcase
During yesterday’s Xbox Partner Preview, Microsoft showed off a slew of upcoming titles including:The First Berserker: Khazan, the new Soulslike ARPG being published by Nexon.
The gameplay of Khazan looked to be at a faster pace than the Souls franchise, and adopts this very recognisable cel shaded art style which makes it look like an anime, but you could clearly see parrying, blocking and dodging in the combat. Additionally, most footage showcased one on one scenarios with menacing attacks and proper timing being the key to victory.
The character even unlocks a checkpoint that looks very “soulslike” in nature, but no details were shown of Khazan’s UI or UX, so we can’t really get a sense of how this will be displayed. There were also no “trash” enemies shown, which may mean that the game has a focus on boss fights, much like another upcoming Soulslike Black Myth: Wukong.
Despite the game being shown at the Xbox Partner Preview, The First Berserker: Khazan will be coming to PC via Steam as well as Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so if you don’t own an Xbox no worries there.
‘Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut’ Coming to PC in May
Ghost of Tsushima, the ARPG Samurai game by Sucker Punch Productions, is getting a PC release and a myriad of technical improvements four years after the original release.
Sucker Punch Productions alongside Nixxes are responsible for the arrival of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC, which will launch on May 16th, 2024. This version of the title includes the Iki Island Expansion and the cooperative online multiplayer mode Legends. Most interestingly, new technologies have been implemented in this version, such as unlimited FPS and different graphic settings to fully enjoy the Japanese ambiance of Ghost of Tsushima.
Performance improvements with NVIDIA and AMD will also be available, with scaling and frame generation options.
Another interesting aspect is the compatibility with ultra-wide monitors. If you have one of these, you can take advantage of the incredible visual aspect of the territories and historical sites with a cinematic field of view. This Director’s Cut for PC features optimization for 21:9, 32:9, and even 48:9 resolutions for fans of triple monitors.
If you’re someone who enjoys skins and packs, pre-ordering on Steam and the Epic Games Store will allow you to obtain some rewards, such as the New Game+ Horse, Traveler’s Attire, and Broken Armor DYE.
Starfield Receives a Massive Patch – 1.10.30
Bethesda releases a patch for Starfield corrections that fixes many known issues with the game, but it is only available for PC.
Starfield arrived on PC with poor optimization, and performance was only acceptable with AMD’s Radeon graphics cards, and NVIDIA’s graphic solutions performed so poorly that even the most powerful models had trouble running it at resolutions for which they were more than prepared.
The Starfield update 1.10.30 contains over 500 fixes addressing known issues and adding desired features such as a proper Starmap display and new Photo mode options. The update is only available on Steam Beta for now, Xbox players will have to wait for the official release. Bethesda plans to continue supporting Starfield with updates, including the upcoming DLC expansion Shattered Space with new content.
Bethesda shows no signs of slowing down its support for the game. The studio has already confirmed it will continue to release updates to eliminate bugs and technical glitches while slowly adding new features based on community feedback. The biggest patch will be the DLC expansion Shattered Space, which is expected to introduce new worlds, characters, items, and an original story to keep players engaged when they are not on missions with Constellation.
Capcom Releases Character Creator for Dragon’s Dogma 2
Just two weeks before the official release of Dragon’s Dogma 2 on June 02, 2025, the action-packed open-world RPG, developed byCapcom launches an unconventional “DEMO”,which allows you to create your character before the official game launch.
Many players have been eagerly awaiting the release of Dragon’s Dogma 2, and although we can’t play the full game just yet, Capcom has released a small aspect of the game for everyone to try out. As stated on the official website, the Japanese company has granted access to the character editor of Dragon’s Dogma 2 to the public, available for free download on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.
It could be said that this character editor is one of the most comprehensive ever implemented in a video game due to the immense amount of options available to edit every aspect of the hero to be embodied. And when we say every aspect, it’s no exaggeration as you’re able to determine the measurements of each part of the body.
It’s important to remember that everything done during these days can be transferred to the final version of the title, which will be released on June 20, 2025, on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. Don’t forget to visit the official website for all available pawns.
Amazon Prime Video Has Revealed Fallout TV Show Trailer and Release Date
Amazon Prime shared the first trailer of their Fallout TV Show, adapted from the video game developed by Bethesda.
The cinematic trailer for the Fallout TV Show showcases the vast world of Fallout with its iconic dark humour. The story follows shelter dweller Lucy played by Ella Purnell, as she tries to adapt to the twisted and dangerous world of the irradiated wasteland, and gives us a first look at Moldaver played by Sarita Choudhury and Ma June played by Dale Dickey. We won’t have to wait too much longer to enjoy it. All eight episodes of the Fallout series will premiere on April 11 on Prime Video, one day sooner than previously announced.
Ella Purnell portrays Lucy, an optimistic dweller of one of the shelters, with a very positive and typical spirit, believing she can do anything. Her peaceful and idealistic nature is tested when she is forced to venture to the surface to rescue her father. Aaron Moten plays Maximus, a young soldier who rises to the rank of squire in the Brotherhood of Steel. He will do everything to achieve the Brotherhood’s goals of bringing law and order to the Wasteland, the inhospitable terrain after the apocalypse. Walton Goggins is “the Ghoul,” a morally ambiguous bounty hunter who carries with him the 200 years of post-nuclear world history.
Fallout is the story of those who have everything and those who don’t, in a world where there’s almost nothing left to have. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the sheltered inhabitants of luxurious nuclear bunkers are forced to return to the hellish irradiated landscape their ancestors left behind, and are surprised to discover an incredibly complex, cheerfully strange, and highly violent universe awaiting them.
