Counterplay Games and Gearbox Publishing have released a closer look at gameplay with a launch trailer for upcoming Godfall which releases next week.
Godfall Gets New Gameplay Trailer for Launch
In this latest trailer forGodfall, it introduces some of the storyline for the slasher-looter Action-RPG. It also shows off some of the moves for each of the differentValorplatesandweapons. There is also a look at bosses including the god himself, Macros.
The story follows Macros who tries to kill his “brother”, pitting brother against brother. The trailer teases if you “defeat each of his lieutenants, his strength becomes your own”. Players will need to defeat the deity Macros and overthrow him. From the video it doesn’t look like it’s going to be easy, as there are going to be some challenges up ahead.
This closer look at combat shows the player throwing down a number of powerful moves and wielding some pretty heavy hittingweapons. It looks to be a fun mix of abilities and combat moves. Whether your planning to take down Macros and his cronies in single-player mode, or teaming up with some friends in co-op.
Pre-Order Editions
At the end of the trailer we also see the pre-order bonuses for pre-ordering. Those who pre-order before the launch date will receive Chrome Valorplate Skins, Red Typhon Valorplate Skin and a starter pack of items. Additionally players will also receive the Zero’s Sword.
Ascended Edition - $99.99
Those who opt for the Ascended Edition will gain the base game but also receive Gold Valorplate Skins for classesSilvermane,PhoenixandGreyhawk, an OrangeVertigoValorplate Skin, gold shield skin and 5 gold weapon skins, plus the first expansion which will arrive in 2021. There is also a unique multiplayer lobby title.
Digital Deluxe Edition - $89.99
The Deluxe edition includes the base game as well as day-one access to the first expansion which releases 2021.
Standard Edition - $69.99
The standard edition comes with the complete based game.
Recently Counterplay Games released therequired specs for PC. Minimum recommended specs include an AMD RX 580 8 GB or Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 6GB, while the recommended specs for graphics card is an AMD Radeon 5700 XT 8GB or an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080Ti.
Players should also note thegame is completely online, so an internet connection is required, even for single-player campaigns.
Recently a teaser trailer was released for theVertigo Valorplate, a bug-inspired gear set that includes glowing blue eyes.
Godfallreleases on PS5 and PC via the Epic Games Store on November 12th 2020.
