According toAndroid Headlines, the Google Pixel 10 series will be revealed at aMade by Google eventon August 07, 2025, with pre-orders starting on the same day. Ironically, this is the same day Google revealed the Pixel 9 series last year.

Pre-orders are reportedly expected to begin arriving on August 20, coinciding with the anticipated start of in-store availability. These dates are based on leaks, and Google hasn’t confirmed them, so its wise to take with a grain of salt. However, given how it lines up with what Google did with the Pixel 9 series last year, there’s a good chance these leaked dates are the real deal.

An upgraded Tensor G5 chipset is widely expected

Based onpast leaks, the Google Pixel 10 series is widely expected to resemble the Pixel 9 series in design, with a few hardware upgrades.

The most notable hardware change is anticipated to be Google’sTensor G5 chipset. However, it remains unclear how significant a leap in performance the chipset will represent.

Leaks indicate thatTSMC is manufacturingit using a 3nm process. This differs from the Tensor G4, which is produced by Samsung using a 4nm process. The new 3nm process for the Tensor G5 could enhance thermals and efficiency, which would be a win for Google, who has often trailed behind Apple and Qualcomm in chipset performance.

Reportedly, Googlerecently invited"Pixel Superfans" to a closed-door event to showcase “upcoming devices” on June 27, leading to speculation that this early event could suggest Google is considering launching the Pixel 10 series earlier this year, possibly in July. However, based on the Android Headlines leak, that doesn’t seem to be the case, and Google is sticking with August. Samsung is expected to releasenew foldablesin July, so it’s possible that Google wanted to avoid overlapping with that release.
