Hollow Knight: Silksong, developed byTeam Cherry, was supposed to have been released sometime during the past year 2023, according to estimates made by the studio itself earlier.

However, the studio assured last year that they were still working hard on the game’s developmentas we recently anticipated in an video, and that the game would take longer to arrive, which would directly translate into a larger-scale game.
As of today, we are far from having a release date, which was only close on one occasion, and as was revealed through the team’s development diaries, it was a date invented by Microsoft to promote the game.
However, the situation regarding the game could change suddenly in the near future, as a really significant change has occurred in the last few hours.Hollow Knight: Silksongnow has a page on the Xbox Store and the rest of the platforms' stores where it will be available.
Hollow Knight: Silksong Appears On Xbox Store
Hollow Knight: Silksongcan now be found on the Microsoft Store, although the day it was activated was April Fool’s Day, and many still doubt how it happened. After Hollow Knight on PC, Steam Deck, PS4, PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, there is eagerness for Silksong. And since Team Cherry hasn’t said much, announcements like the one about its page on the Microsoft Store are taken lightly.
As we can see on the Xbox Store itself, we have access to the Hollow Knight: Silksong page, although it is still in a very early state. As expected, the game does not offer the option to pre-order it, as that is only available for games that already have a confirmed release date, something that Team Cherry’s game does not have at the moment.
It is true that some images have been shared that we have already seen on other occasions when the title was shown. However, the only thing we can find on the game’s page is a small description, the platforms on which it will be available within the store itself (PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S), and some of the features it incorporates.
As we have said, the release date of Hollow Knight: Silksong has not been confirmed, but the fact that Team Cherry has opened a page on each of the stores where the game will be released indicates that it may be something that will be revealed sooner rather than later.
