The Technical Player Homes
These homes can betechnically usedby players to rest and craft inside with no issue. However, they do not count as purchasing a home like the others available. These homes are owned or previously owned byNPCswho willingly sell or give permission for the player to use them at their discretion, but they can also be used if the player is low on funds and just needs a quick and reliable area available to craft in.
The Mansion By The Beach

This is the first home you’ll technically have, located on the far left shore past theDrowned Village. To access this home, you must go to theVillagebelow TheKeepers' Fortressin theHorns Of The Southand make your way into the tavern. Sitting at a table alone, you’ll findLady Alisa, a noblewoman who desires the Mansion by the sea. Help her clear out the bandits and return to her after activating theMansion By The Beach Checkpoint.Return toAlisaand witness a small argument between her and her husband before teleporting back to the mansion. Upon your return to the mansion, Alisa will claim that her husband has been kidnapped by bandits and held for ransom. Follow the marked location on her map and find her husband, who only pretended to be kidnapped so he could run away and begin a new life away from his wife. Support his decision and return toAlisato claim that her husband was dead and only his ring remained. She would then offer to sell you the mansion for 500 gold, though you could try and haggle her down to 300, and then the mansion would be yours. However, you can’t decorate it or store anything with it, and with the mansion being so far from any crafting stations, it’s virtually useless, but at the same time, it still belongs to theplayer.

Firket’s homeis the first home you will likely see upon awakening after the cutscene of reigniting theMenhirin the town inAct 2. He is currently being harassed by the soldiers ofKamelotfor the crime of causing an explosion earlier in the week and refusing to come out. To gain access to this unconventional home, in the side quest,Playing With Fire, you should agree withFirket’sreasoning of blaming theKamelot Knightsinstead and persuadeDelhometo return Firket’s invention and supplies to him. Once you complete the quest and Firket remains alive and soldier-free, he will open his home to you, where you may collect some items that will replenish after a few days, craft with the alchemy stand and cook food as well as rest your character in the safety of the home away from the nightlywylds.

The Village Villa
Asking Price:20,000 gold
The very first home you’ll come across in the game is located in theVillagejust below theKeepers. The description of the home is lackluster, but it gets the job done, with rickety interiors and an ease of access to the sea for fishing. This is a good starter home for players who want to soak in theFirst Act of the game at their own pace while having a safe area to spend the night, as theWyldsare exceptionally dangerous at the starting point of the game, especially with the ghostly spector that chases you down and is difficult to defeat the early levels. However, you will eventually outgrow the home and won’t make many trips back to the region once you solve the main plot ofExcalibur and the first shard ofKing Arthur, leaving this home as a curiosity rather than a permanent residence.
Town Residence
Asking Price: 50,000 gold
Location: Cuanacht
This Home is in a more prime real estate area in the Cuanacht Main Square, located near a waypoint, a merchant row, ahospital, and a variety ofNPCsand side quests. This house is the best investment for players to make, as the surrounding area gives reason for the player to return to even in the end game, for the merchants alone, for ingredient variety and ease of access for storage and other basic systems. With all thecrafting systemsbuilt into the home with two floors, and crafting stations scattered around just outside, this is the perfectendgamehome for the player to utilize outside of bonfires and stash systems.
