Photo-mode is a gamer’s best friend, and this applies toTears of the Kingdomas well. Just like inBreath of the Wild, you can take photos using your new Purah Pad. But sadly, this is an easily missable feature if you don’t start the right quest. We’ll explain how to take photos inThe Legend of Zelda:Tears of the Kingdomso you can become Hyrule’s best photographer!

How to unlock the camera feature inTears of the Kingdom

Once you make it off of Great Sky Island, and have progressed enough in the main quest, you’lleventually find Robbie in Lookout Landing. He’ll be chatting with Josha about taking pictures in the Hyrule Chasms. This will start the‘Camera Work in the Depths’ side quest. Now, make your way to the Hyrule Field Chasm, and jump down.

To survive and find Robbie in this enormous area, ensure you have a lot of Brightbloom Seeds. An adventurer named Ponnick will tell you that Robbie headed west, so you’ll need to make your way there while lighting up the area with Brightbloom seeds. The easiest way to do this is by holding the ‘R’ button, then pressing up on the d-pad to throw the item. Once it hits the ground, it will illuminate the area around it.

Now you know how to take photos inTears of the Kingdom! To access this new ability, hold the ‘L’ button and select Camera. Similarly toBreath of the Wild, you can take landscape shots, and even self-portraits. If you move the left joystick in different directions, Link will strike different poses.
