The long-awaited fishing update forLEGO Fortniteis finally here, and you’re able to craft multiple tiers of fishing rods to catch all sorts of fish in your LEGO Fortnite world. In a new LEGO Fortnite world, unlocking fishing rods is fairly straightforward.
For existing players, however, you’ll need to jump through a few hoops to learn the crafting recipes.

LEGO Fortnite Fishing Rod Recipes
There are four fishing rod rarities that can be crafted in LEGO Fortnite. Just like the other tools and weapons in the game, new fishing rod recipes will be unlocked as you progress through the game and obtain new materials from different regions. If you’re playing on an established LEGO Fortnite world, however, you’ll need to add certain items to your inventory to unlock the recipes.

To unlock thecommonfishing rod crafting recipe in LEGO Fortnite, you need to haveCordin your inventory. To get theuncommon, rare, and legendaryfishing rod recipes, you need to haveKnotroot Rods, Flexwood Rods, and Frostpine Rodsrespectively.
Once you add each of these items to your inventory, the crafting recipes will unlock automatically and you can then make a fishing rod at any crafting bench. Here are the required crafting materials for each fishing rod rarity in LEGO Fortnite.
Once you’ve made a fishing rod, just head to any body of water and look for a fishing spot to begin fishing. Just like in normal Fortnite, fishing rods are white whirlpools. you may’t find fish anywhere else. It may be a good idea toestablish a base near a lake or riverso you can fish to your heart’s content.
