Tears of the Kingdom: How to use Stone Talus hearts
After you have defeated a Stone Talus inTears of the Kingdom, you can use their Luminous heart or normal heart byFusing it with your shield or melee weapon.
I recommend Fusing the Stone Talus heart to your melee weapon, especially one with high durability, because itincreases your attack power by 21 points.

If you Fuse the Stone Talus heart with a weapon that already has a high attack power, you may feel confident in knowing you haveone of the most powerful weapons in the game so far. Fusing objects onto your weapons is the best way to get high damage-dealing weapons, and there aren’t many better options than a Stone Talus heart.
How to defeat a Stone Talus inTears of the Kingdom
If you’ve Googled what to do with the Stone Talus heart, I doubt you need help defeating a Stone Talus. But just in case, the easiest way to defeat a Stone Talus is toshoot the exposed rock on its topwith a regular arrow or aBomb Flowerfor more damage.
Once you’ve done that, the Stone Talus will drop. Climb onto it andstart attacking the exposed rock— this is the only place you can deal damage to a Stone Talus. Beware, the Stone Talus will eventually fling you off.
Repeat this process while avoiding its rock throw attack andyou’ll easily defeat the Stone Talus. Now, you can Fuse the Stone Talus heart to create a very powerful weapon.
