Kate Winslet once also opened up aboutTitanic‘s tough filming schedule and revealed how miserable DiCaprio was while filming for the movie.

Once in an interview withThe Guardian,Kate Winslettalked about how young she and Leonardo DiCaprio was while filming the movie,Titanic. She said, “I turned 21 on that shoot, and Leo turned 22.” The interviewer mentioned how he had met up with DiCaprio and the actor revealed that he was absolutely miserable while filming the movie, and Winslet just burst out laughing after hearing this. She further said,

“I remember! I remember that he was! It wasn’t pleasant for any of us, but we were all in it together. Though he had way more days off than I ever bloody did. I guess I was raised to be grateful and just get on with it. I didn’t feel it was my right to be miserable, and if I was miserable I certainly would not have let a journalist know. There is no way I would have let that slip!”

Titanicwas a massive critical and commercial success at the box office as the movie went on to gross almost $2.25 billion against a production budget of $200 million. The movie also went on to win 11 Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director.
