Invincible Season 4 announces NYCC panel and it could unveil the show’s biggest casting yet
Invincibleis coming to New York Comic-Con, with the panel set to feature Season 4 updates and other surprises – and fans think they know what (and who) is coming.
Prime Video is all-in on Invincible. The fourth season is set for release in 2026, Season 5 has already been green-lit, and Robert Kirkman and co. have managed to get the stars aligned so fans won’t need to wait too long between seasons.
AfterMark’s fight against Conquestin the Season 3 finale, don’t expect things to get any better for him next year. The Sequid threat will inevitably emerge from the sewers, we sawDamien Darkbloodplotting something in hell, and we may even get to see the Viltrumite War.
However, for the latter event to happen, we need to meet the biggest bad in all of Invincible.
Invincible fans think NYCC panel will announce Thragg star
On October 10, Steven Yeun, Gillian Jacobs, Kirkman, and other “members of the star-studded voice cast” will appear at New York Comic Con to talk aboutInvincible Season 4.
According to the website, it’ll be an “exclusive conversation filled with Season 4 teases, behind-the-scenes insights, and surprises Invincible fans won’t want to miss.”
“Has Invincible recovered from the fight with Conquest? Will things ever be the same with Eve? Will there be more Omni-Man in Season 4? Where is Season 4, William? All questions that may or may not be answered,” it adds.
In July, it was confirmed that Matthew Rhys (The Americans) will playDinosaurus, an incredibly pivotal villain from the comics who’s responsible for one of its darkest moments. There are several other characters we haven’t seen yet, but Thragg is undoubtedly the most important (and scariest) of them all.
In short, he’s the Grand Regent of the Viltrum Empire, and (arguably) the strongest Viltrumite in the universe. He is confirmed to appear in Season 4, but we still don’t know who’s playing him. That may be about to change.

“INVINCIBLE SEASON 4 PANEL MIGHT GIVE US OUR THRAGG VOICE ACTOR,” one fantweeted. “Thragg VA reveal time? Since we got what his TV show design might look like from the new trade paperback cover that Cory Walker did a while ago,” anotherspeculated.
In anearlier interview, Kirkman said: “Thragg is cast and will be in Season 4. So, I won’t reveal anything other than if you’ve been watching the show since Season 1, you might be like, ‘Hey, when is there going to be more Viltrumite stuff?’
“I will say that Season 4 has more Viltrumite stuff that you might be wanting. In Season 2, we got the cool Anissa stuff and then Nolan’s story.
“In Season 3, we got Conquest, and Nolan’s story, and stuff going on in space with Allen. In Season 4, it really ramps up. So, the people that are loving that aspect of the show, you will definitely get more of that.”
