The life sim aiming to rivalThe Simsis expanding withIsland Getaway, asummer-themed DLCthat introduces atropical island map, new features likefarmingandmining, andenhanced character interactionswithin its world.
The new map,Cahaya, is a Southeast Asia-inspired archipelago made up of a main island and a vacation island where players canswim, sail, and divewith their Zois. You’ll also findnew outfits, hairstyles, and decorative itemsthat embrace the summer vibe.
The DLC also bringsvehicles like scooters and electric kickboards, along withgameplay systemssuch asfarming, mining, gem crafting, and fishing. Plus,character interactions are getting a big upgrade. Krafton explains:
“New systems like random encounters, thought bubbles, and cooperative actions will let players create deeper stories and spontaneous moments between their Zois.”
Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim, game director and CEO of inZOI Studio, says thatplayer feedback since early access launched in March shaped this content.
“This DLC reflects the vision we’ve built together with our community,” he says, adding thatIsland Getaway is only the beginning.
More Island Getaway Details Coming August 15
Abeta version of controller supportwill roll out with the free DLC, along withUI improvementsandover 90 new music tracks. More details will be revealed in alive broadcast on August 15at3:00 a.m. CESToninZOI’sofficial YouTube and Twitch channels. You can check out the first screenshots at the bottom of this article.
Thetrailerfor Island Getaway will premiere during theGamescom 2025 Opening Night Liveevent onAugust 19. And the next day,Krafton will launch the early access version of inZOI for MacviaSteam and the Mac App Store—an optimized release for Apple Silicon Macs.
