Fans of the Like a Dragon series have been having a pretty great time of it over these past few years. Not only has Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio proven that it’s able to change up the ol' Yakuza formula while still retaining the series' heart, but also that it’s able to put forwardseveral characters capable of taking overfrom Kiryu from time to time. It seems likethe good times are set to keep on rolling too,as SEGA has reported that the latest game, Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, has topped one million copies sold, and that it’s managed to do so faster than any of its predecessors.
To mark this achievement, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are thanking all the game’s fans and supporters by releasing a free Celebratory T-Shirt Set within Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth some time in the near future. Neither company has set a date for when the pack will drop, but they have assured fans that those who keep an eye on the companies' social media channels will know soon enough.

Honolulu City will probably never be the same after Kiryu and Ichiban are done with it.
Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth once again has players following Ichiban Kasuga as he strives once more to pull himself up by his bootstraps and make his fortune. Kiryu fans aren’t being left out in the cold though. Despite having just starred in his own spin-off game,Like A Dragon: Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name,Kazama Kiryu is joining Ichiban in the latter’s Hawaiian endeavors. His aims aren’t quite the same though, as he’s got one last piece of business to take care of before finally (hopefully) taking it easy for a while.
Along with its new story and the combined forces of Kiryu and Ichiban, players are finally getting to travel beyond Japan and enjoy a new location: Hawaii, which features Honolulu City, the largest map in the series to date. They also have the opportunity to try out new jobs, training elements, customization options and the new Live Command RPG Battle system. It’s definitely a lot, but it apparently works better than one would expect. Head over toour reviewto get the full breakdown on how it all shakes out and learn whether it’s a proper send-off for our favorite former yakuza.
