In an exclusive comment provided toThe Hollywood Reporter, Rockstar claimed its follow-up GTA 6 trailer was seen over 475 million times in its first 24 hours. This factors in viewership across all platforms including X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and many others.
It’s worth noting, when the first trailer went live, it remained exclusive to YouTube for a brief window following some early leaks. As a result, it didn’t quite have the same immediate impact. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the initial footage recorded 93 million views in its first 24 hours by comparison.
With Trailer 2 more than quadrupling the first, it now reportedly sits atop the entire entertainment industry as the fastest-growing video ever.
Previously, theDeadpool & Wolverine trailer held the recordwith 365 million views in its first 24 hours. No other video game has come close to this mark.
