Enterbrain, a Japanese magazine publisher just released issue 1,500 of their popularWeekly Famitsumagazine and included the results of a survey in which they asked readers to vote their favorite game of all time regardless of release date, genre, or platform.
In addition to the readers, the magazine’s own editorial staff, and a sizable panel of celebrities and game developers were also asked to vote.

The rules of the survey states that; each person may vote up to three games in order of preference with each allotted a certain number of points like below:
The survey was conducted between July 7th and July 18th, with the publisher receiving 5,287 submissions. The breakdown of those voters is as follows:

You may have noticed that the recently-released and extremely successfulDragon Quest XI(as evidenced by the previousJapanese sales chart) is nowhere to be found in the rankings, and reason being is that the game was released in Japan on July 29th, over a week after the end of the survey. So, it’s going to be a while before we know how it stacks up toPersona 5.
