Raising Dionis a popular American superhero series based on a comic book of the same name. Netflix released the first season of the series back in October 2019. Season 1 featured a total of nine episodes, and the show was well-received by fans because of its story. Since then, the community has been waiting for the show to come back with a new season.
Well, after a frustratingly long wait,Raising Dionis coming back with Season 2. After watching the new season’s trailer, it’s safe to say that things are going to get more intense for our little superhero.

Raising Dion Season 1 Quick Recap
In the first season ofRaising Dion, we saw Nicole, a single mother, taking care of her son, Dion. Nicole’s husband, Mark, was a scientist who was developing a shield that could withstand lightning. At first, Nicole doesn’t believe that Dion has any superpowers. However, in one incident, Nicole gets hurt after Dion showcases his powers in frustration.
After school, Dion uses his powers to impress his classmates. But Nicole reaches there on time and gets furious at her son for leaving school without permission. Dion and Nicole then sit by a lake to discuss some things; however, they are shocked when images of certain people form out of thin air. In those images, Nicole sees Mark, who warns Nicole to stay away from this situation.
Looking for answers, Nicole tracks down Charlotte Tuck, the woman Mark died saving. It turns out Charlotte also has powers. However, Charlotte is in hiding in fear of the Crooked Man.
After this, Dion also meets Pat and his son Brayden. Pat takes Dion to BIONA, where we see a glimpse of Dion’s healing ability. Besides healing an Arctic Fox, Dion also discovers his power to communicate with animals.
Esperanza, who has been with Dion from the start, finds out about Dion’s powers during a field trip. It happens when Dion uses his powers to grab his inhaler from Esperanza’s hand during an asthma attack.
At this point, we see Crooked Man killing Brayden’s dad, and meanwhile, BIONA spots Dion using his power. Everything goes to hell when Aunt Kate learns about Dion’s powers, and Pat helps Nicole find out what’s inside the SD card they found inside Mark’s watch.
On the other hand, Braydon talks to Charlotte through telepathy and tells her about his dad getting killed by the electricity man. As the story moves forward, we learn that BIONA has been tracking the Crooked Man and Dion for a while. Surprisingly, out of jealousy, Pat reveals that he is the Crooked Man. It turns out Pat got these powers in Iceland, and he has been absorbing powers from people to stay alive. And that’s how he accidentally killed Mark. He tries to do the same to Dion and convinces the boy to heal him, but thanks to Dion’s friends, they successfully defeat the Crooked Man.
