Spider-Man: Homecomingdirector Jon Watts’Spider-Man: Far From Homeis heading our way next month. But as excellent as this follow-up is sure to be, let’s not forget about the other killerSpider-Manfranchise we have out thereSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. And speaking of the Academy Award-winning animated motion picture, today we have word via producer Amy Pascal that - no worries - the powers that be behind the scenes are working hard onSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2.
There have been some rumors that aSpider-VerseTV show may replace the sequel.Amy Pascalconfirms this about a follow-up, saying that is not the case, and that the next animated big screen adventure will be a direct sequel to the Oscar winning original.
“We are definitely hard at work on the sequel. you’re able to expect another movie. Well, of course it’s going to be on the big screen and it’s going to be about Miles.”

Now, what about seeing Miles Morales in a live-action movie? Pascal says this about that possibility.
“No, I don’t think you should exclude [Miles from a live-action movie]. I think you should assume there is nothing to exclude.”
