Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble marks the series' next fully new entry sinceBanana Splitzin 2012. This title, done by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio ofYakuza/Like a Dragonseries fame and published by SEGA, brings all the monkey business to a new generation. This Nintendo Switch exclusive is the third Monkey Ball title to come to the platform, with the first being 2019’sSuper Monkey Ball Banana Blitz HDand 2021’sSuper Monkey Ball Banana Mania.
High Rolling (in Style)
All of your favorite characters, like AiAi, GonGon and MeeMee return, alongside a banana bunch of new faces like Fes, Tee, Val and Palette. New to the series as well is the Spin Dash, which gives you a speed boost that can be used in various ways, like completing courses in record-time or unlocking new ways to traverse the stages.
A new story mode, called Adventure Mode, follows the playful primates on a journey across over 200 new stages to discover the Legendary Banana with new friends and foes in tow. The mode can be played solo or with up to four of your closest friends via ‘banana’ split-screen. Also available isBattle Mode, which lets you play amongst sixteen online players or CPUs in five different modes from the explosive Ba-BOOM to the electrifying Robot Smash. Of course, you’re able to customize your character with over300 different optionslike shoes, outfits and even your monkey ball!
