LAYUP

THREE

We are not gamers who appreciate sports as well, so this was not the first category we guessed. However, we did recognize that DUNK and LAYUP were basketball terms, and from there it was a matter of guessing which other two words fit. THREE made the most sense, but FLOATER took us a little while to get right.

SKATE

SOLE

We may not be fishermen ourselves, but we do have close relatives that are. We knew it absolutely had to be a fishing category, as PIKE, PERCH, and SOLE made a lot of sense together and likely wouldn’t be anything else. However, we did have to figure out which other word could also be a fish, which turned out to be SKATE. Which is a little fishy given that a SKATE fish does not have wheels of any kind attached.

Wordle History: Today’s Answer & All Past Words

Wordle is a simple daily word game that has taken the internet by storm. With only 6 chances to get the right answer, players may need a little help.

LIFT

VOLUME

BOUNCE also fit in with the idea of basketball, so that gave us a little trouble at first. LIFT and VOLUME both seemed to go together but it took us a bit before we got the full set. Maybe that’s to blame on the fact that we have had to do everything we can to thicken our hair, to make it lift even a little, but alas we do not know what it’s actually like.

POSTER

PROBLEM

Ironically ONLY children are also often PROBLEM or POSTER children, with no in-between. We only-children know that to be true without a shadow of a doubt. The only thing missing here is that we are not often FLOWER children, as the lack of siblings or aunts and uncles often also leads to a lack of being asked to be in a wedding. It is what it is. Maybe that’s why some of us become PROBLEM children.
