You can navigate the Depths in a variety of ways. I entered the Depths using only a few of the chasms available in the overworld. Then I explored to find Lightroot locations. I recommend this approach if you’re patient like me.

If you have explored the Depths fairly thoroughly, you will have ventured to the northwest portion. Specifically, you should have found theNupisoyuat Lightroot. See the screenshot of its location above. That Lightroot corresponds to theTauyosipun Shrinein the overworld. The closest chasm is theHyrule Ridge Chasm. You find it a short distance north from theTabantha Bridge Stable.

Enter the Depths through the Hyrule Ridge Chasm and make your way northwest to Nupisoyuat Lightroot.Or, if you have already activated it, fast travel to that location.

From Nupisoyuat Lightroot, head southeast. You’ll find aBlue-White Froxthat is hard to miss. Veer left ahead of that monster and climb the hill to reach the low point on a massive root. Ascend to its high point. This takes you into theSturnida Lavafallsarea.

You’ll find yourself overlooking the lava falls. TwoPoesrest where you should stand. See a map of the root’s location above. Right near the falls, a chest rests on the higher of two rock ledges. Paraglide over to the ledge. Open the chest to acquire theCap of Time.
