Team Ninja has been teasing the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty X Nioh 2 collaboration and it’s finally here. New mission available on consoles and PC.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty x Nioh 2 Free Update Now Available
Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have announced that the Nioh 2 free update is finally here for Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. The free update adds a new foe to defeatMezukifromNioh 2. That’s not the only Nioh 2 influence as if you defeat the mighty Mezuki you’re able to proudly display your victory by equipping the Scampuss Hat which also appeared in Nioh 2. Scampuss are the cute rolling wide-eyed cat Yokai that appeared in Nioh 2.
Of course, if you fail you get to see the Nioh 2-styled death announcement which wasteased previously, “Freed From This Mortal Coil”. Mezuki is not messing around as the death animations look brutal.
This boss has a horse’s head and wields a blade which you shouldn’t get too close to. He also summons ghosts which is similar to his attack in Nioh 2.
This isn’t the first crossover Wo Long has had, previously gaining collaborations withNaraka: Bladepointand Lies of P which received thePuppet’ SaberandEtiquetteumbrella weapon, both fun weapons.Lies of Pwill also be gaining some in-game content from Fallen Dynasty but that’s still underway.
Wo Long Fallen Dynasty will also be gaining more content on December 12th with the third paid DLCUpheaval in Jingxiang. Similar to DLCConqueror of Jiangdong, it will have newWeapons, new story, newDivine Beastsand endgame content. Another free update is set to come next month too with newWizardy Spelland balance adjustments.
